

This 300+ year old table, or coffer, has ornate carvings that are more indicative of the Ming Dynasty
and can be compared to miniature clay models from Shanxi province. Some of these coffers were used
as kitchen carving tables and storage cabinets, but were more often used as Kong tables in the
